I have a zombie App Service Plan that won't delete, because it thinks it has a linked application.
Having thoroughly deleted any linked applications (actually any possible linked resources), but the App Service Plan still shows 1 App in the essentials element of the blade. Although, very helpfully no indication of what it thinks is linked!
Any ideas short of going to Dublin (North Europe) and hitting servers with a hammer?

Hi,
I deleted a resource group that contained a running VM. Despite the fact I've successfully done this before, this time around it deleted everything except the storage account for the VM and the resource group is stuck in "Deleting" state.
I tried to manually delete the storage account, which failed because it still had an active lease on the os disk. I have cleared the lease and deleted the .vhd and I still can't delete the storage account (same error) and the resource group is still stuck in the deleting state.
What can I do to fix this?

Not sure if this is the right forum to use, so if not, please direct me towards the appropriate place :) I've got my Azure system set up with the Scheduler, and have two jobs currently scheduled. The jobs are set up as HTTPS GET operations. Each job is set up to point at a specific web address, which is configured to not require login.
The pages work correctly when I run them manually. However, through the scheduler, I'm seeing errors occurring, based on the dashboard. When I go to the history though, I can't see anything - it loads for some time, and then says "Cannot load management data for the current view."
Anyone know why this is happening, and how I can get access to these logs?
Over the last few days I have noticed that some of my databases are no longer showing in the preview portal.
They exist and are running and they appear on the current Management Portal.
Interestingly, I have tiles on the start page for all of my databases, of the 3 that are missing from the databases list that I have pinned, two of them are there but show no text where normally they would show "Running", for one of them the pinned tile has disappeared completely!
I was having some troubles to connect using RDP to my Azure VM so I decided to stop it and start again. The problem is that it is not initializing anymore and the only error message the portal shows me is "The server encountered an internal error. Please retry the request."
Me and my team are under a BizSpark suscription, actual three members in total
My subscription is named as "BizSpark MyStartupName" while the other two subscriptions are named just "BizSpark", what make confusing sometimes, i.e. on the location of resources

Currently when I login to https://portal.azure.com/ and open WebApp. under usage, I see Cpu % metrics graph.
Currently it shows CPU % for only one day, there is an option Edit chart to see metrics of past dates but when I select any past dates and click save it does show any past metrics. Still show's current metrics

I have an account on windows azure, which is a co-administrator of multiple different subscriptions, but doesn't have a subscription assigned on it's own. When I operate on different subscriptions, I have to switch between subscription directories to access them, and be able to add virtual machines on different subscriptions. But when creating a virtual machine, I saw the option to switch a subscription on which I would like to create the VM, but unfortunately this option always returns only one subscription (the one I am currently using).
I am wondering if it is possible to configure a single directory which would have all my subscriptions assigned, so I could manage all my subscriptions at once, without a need to switch between them?

Hello, I am new to a lot of this (especially understanding and knowing what is the right thing to do, and wrong thing to do) and am a person who tends to get overwhelmed very easily and has a hard time making correct decisions while feeling completely overwhelmed and anxious, when it comes down to keeping the organization flow steady. I always read the privacy policy's and terms of use, etc. yet there is so much information to be kept filed and clean that I don't know where to start. I'm afraid I will make the wrong decision in a situation where I need to make that decision fast. I would love to know if there is a lot of support available for individuals just starting out. With the support, I was also wondering about what some of the other support specialists will help, and understand if I violate the Privacy Policy, Terms of Use, Etc. I'm so nervous as of now that I (from what I've read and studided) am now in control of all the services, tools, storage, databases, and accounts on my computer that something wrong has already occured that I wasn't able to fix, share, or change while i have been registering and reading the extremely important aspects of Azure. So far the support has been amazing, and very versitile at giving me insight, I am a nervous individual, and any extra available resources as I learn with others would be a releiving feeling to have.

Hi, what I am trying to do, is to create a very simpel way for users to start their own Virtual Machines. We have a lot of users who have thier own VM, for testing, and we dont want to give the all access to Management Portal.
Is there a very simpel way, to create a website where all the servers could be listed (this could be a static page, that would be updated), and a Start button, to start the virtual machines?
Have tried looking at the ServiceManageMent REST API - Start Role, but since I am not a developer, it doesnt sink in :-)

I'm trying to create a new web site on Azure. When I use my account on Azure, the "Web Site" option is missing.
It is replaced by the "Web App" option, and I cannot create a new web site. Please help.

I am currently experiencing an issue in visual studio in the Manage Microsoft Azure Subscriptions screen it indicates One or more errors occurred while loading subscriptions. In the view details screen I see:
One or more errors occurred while loading subscriptions.
The client 'live.com#<live id>' with object id '' does not have authorization to perform action 'Microsoft.Resources/subscriptions/read' over scope '/subscriptions/<subscription id>'.
I have tried from multiple machines and it happens in all of them.

I am testing our Azure Recovery Services on-premise to Azure. I have some VM's under protection that I am failing over with great results. I added some VHD disks to the VM's and now I would like to fail these over as with my OS Disk. Currently ASR only detects the OS disk which will just not do.
How exactly do I get ASR to recognize the changes I have made to the VM?

But when I run a test sending and look at the logs it does not show any results. Can you please share pre-settings required to enable this log.
When using the Azure preview portal, I can successfully browse to my VM and click on Settings.
However, when I click on IP Addresses, the far-right portion of the screen *BRIEFLY (1 to 2 seconds) shows the IP Address information, but then suddenly displays the message "Error Loading File" followed by "Click to reload". No
amount of clicking/reloading fixes the issue.
I've tried multiple times using multiple browsers on three separate computers, so I highly doubt this issue is attributable to anything I did.
Is Microsoft even aware of this "peek-a-boo" issue when it comes to managing a VM through the Preview Portal?
If you think development is tough now, think how hard it was using punched cards :-)
I am a total newb to Azure but I did create a Windows Server 2012 R2 VM successfully. When I tried to connect (through the *.rdp shortcut) the account shown in the dialog box is the one I used to create the VM but my username\password login is not accepted. Any ideas? (The username\password is that of my MSDN account and it has access to the Azure portal.)

last week I've activated Microsoft Azure for my existing MSDN Subscription, but today it was not possible to publish any more. On my Azure management web site I can not login, error : no subscription has active Azure, sign up to azure.
My services that I have published last week are still available.
I do not know what will happen if I sign up again, because of running services.
What is my solution? Support does not work.
