I am the only one global administrator for my company Azure tenant account. After using it for some time we decided to abandon Azure all together. I have deleted all resources and now only Azure AD subscription left there. The problem is
I cannot remove this subscription. Following the removing instruction I get to the page where "Cancel subscription" supposed to be, but it is not there. Furthermore, my role on this page indicated as “Unknown”. When trying to do some steps like viewing,
changing\adding roles I get different errors like “Error generated with code: 400 and message: The current subscription type is not permitted to perform operations on any provider namespace. Please use a different subscription.” or some unexpected error occurred,
try again later. On the top of it I cannot submit any help requests getting the error in the end “Sorry, you don't have permission to create a support request. Please check your permissions and contact the owner of this resource.” I had come to an impasse
at this point.
Anyone can provide an idea how break it? The goal is to erase Azure account from MS servers.
Thank you
