I have recently migrated an old storage account from classic to ARM, and forgot it was used by an old Cloud Service VM (no warning from the portal here). Now there's no way to delete this VM because the portal says it's in an invalid state.

Please define me about Contributor Roles, Reader Roles and User Access Admin.
Contributor> If we have multiple subscriptions in our Azure portal and if someone has contributor roles. Its mean that if this user has contributor roles on management group then he/she can do everything but can not delegate access to others. right? If he/she has contributor role on specific subscription then he/she can anything with that particular subscription but can not delegate access to others. right?
Reader> In the case of Reader role on management group. That user can view all things for all subscriptions and if he/she has reader roles on specific subscription then he/she can read everything on that particular subscription. Right?
User Access Admin> Please tell me something about it. thanks

we are using one Azure policy to enforce several vm SKUs. This worked until now but now there is one user, that needs to deploy one resource with another SKU.
How do you guys deal with exceptions? Is it possible to configure the policy with an if-statement like "if sku is not in allowed skus and user is not in azure ad group, deny"?
Right now the only possible solutions seem to be:
- Exclude resource group from policy assignment
- Assign policy on resource group level with automation job except this resource group
- Exclude a "premium resource group" from assignment, create service there, relocate to users resource group

1. I guess that my subscription has some old and not used recourse groups. However, I'm not sure which ones really have no connections and activities anymore. Can anyone explain to me how I can find those recourse groups?
2. In the recourse groups that are in use, I sometimes have a tresor included as part of the group. How can I figure out, if this tresor is actually having any activity/traffic/etc. - or if it is just there but has "no job" to do?

When I checked my cost analysis last night, I got a little shock.
Here is the story:
I started to use my subscription on October 19th and spent €20 so far.
My estimated costs are at about €90-€100 per month:
The webapp currently is on a free tial plan until 2019-11-20.
The Cost Analysis (not Cloudyn) shows me a forecast of €180 by the end of November and €520 by the end of December, which I think is completely wrong. This looks like the analyses does a linear projection but not taking into account which resources I use.
Am I calculating something wrong here and the costs really will increase that much or is the Cost Analysis just wrong?

We are about to turn on unified labelling for use. Currently we have not used any labels in Azure so we are starting from scratch and our tenant is not enabled yet for unified labelling. My question is what exactly does the Activate Unified labelling button do if you don't have any labels to migrate across to Compliance?
We will have all our labels set and published via the compliance admin centre so what does the Activate Unified Labelling button do in the background when clicked? I asked as there's no 'de-activate' button and that's a bit scary.
Is it simply a flag to let Microsoft know that we are ready to accept future updates or something? I've tried looking this up everywhere however can;t seem to find much information on people who have had a tenant for a long time and are just coming onto the unified labelling band wagon.

Hopefully the right section of the forums. We have SCCM 1806 and we are looking to pilot co-management with SCCM on-prem and Intune tenant up in Azure. The account I have tried to log in with has the role of an Intune Administrator, but I get the following message:
"Access Denied. You are not authorized to view this page. Your IT Department may be able to help"
When I looked in the audit logs on Azure the reason stated highlights "Access denied. Tenant does not have required features enabled for the Api."
Is there a specific Intune tenant account to use, such as one that was used to setup the Intune tenancy in Azure?

On version 1.12.6 when I connected to Dashboard in a web browser(by az aks browse) I view CPU & Memory Usage
Now on new version I cannot see it

So I have an older unresolved issue that has led to this new issue:
About 1,5 years ago we decided to get further into device management in our organization.
As we had already made the switch to the E3 solution we decided to roll with Intune.
Now in order to get this to work properly we had to convert our existing on-site solution to the Azure Hybrid solution (to my understanding).
I had finally got our Windows 10 devices to be registered as Azure AD registered, and got a Bitlocker policy running, and our users could log into their myapps portal and check their bitlocker key in case something fessed up. So far so good.
But our hybrid setup simply didn't work, and the devices never registered as hybrid joined, so we were kind of stuck, and due to a ton of other projects we shelved the hybrid project for another day.
Then half a year ago in april all new devices suddenly stopped being registered in Azure AD. I couldn't fnd an explanation to this, and got no response on my support request. But while troubleshooting I found the missing pieces to get our hybrid environment up and running, and after setting up the last part of the compliance policies I've also started to see new devices both as Azure AD registered and Hybrid joined, but the Azure registration just disappear once the hybrid join has finalized.
Now, the new issue is that the devices register without an owner, and thereby the users can't see the device from the myapps portal and access their bitlocker key.
We can, of course, provide it to them but why is this seen as a feature according to Microsoft instead of a bug??
