Team,
I have recently configured VPN tunnel between Windows Azure to my on premises network for particular subnets. Everything seems to fine and i am able to access the resources from both the end.
But what i observe is, if there is no traffic between azure and My network, tunnel is going to idle state and hence it losing the connectivity.
if i start pinging the azure network from on premises, after 4-5 timeout the connectivity is getting re-established and am able to access the resources without any issues. Connectivity back to normal.
As a workaround, currently i have put for continuous ping to make the connectivity steady.
Please let me know why this behavior is happening and how i can get permanent solution for this issue. What changes i have to do from Azure perspective ? i read something call "Always on" option for website....!!
Please advise...
