How long should it take for a support plan to show up in the Azure portal after purchase?

I purchased a standard support plan this afternoon as we need urgent support with an issue with Azure SQL. It has been several hours now and it still is not showing in the Azure portal and I am therefore unavailable to make a new support request. 

I can see a subscription called "Standard support" under "Cost Management + Billing" > "Subscriptions" which has a link to "Manage" it which goes through to account.azure.com/subscriptions/statement where I can cancel it etc.

But when I go to create a new support request it show me as having a basic subscription with upgrade buttons for developer/standard/professional direct.

How long will it be before I can access the support that I have paid for!? This is an urgent issue that could start to cost us if we do not rectify it ASAP.
