Azure Policy - creating a tag value based on computer name

We have deployed our VMs already and we are starting use Azure policies to apply the missing tags that are required at resource level. We have been asked to create a new tag on the virtual machines resources which has the server name. I know how to get the policy to create the tag but I am unable to find anything about how to get the value of the virtual machine and apply it to the tag.
