Migrating ADConnect

Hi,

I need to migrate AD Connect settings to another server.

I believe that the version of AD Connect is old.

I found some procedures for migration and I want to know if these procedures can be performed in any version?

I found the procedures a little confusing, I thought it was something simpler. I'm thinking of even reconfiguring from scratch again, if there are few configurations.

If AD Connect is on an older version, will I be able to migrate to a newer AD Connect on another server?

Or do I have to update AD Connect before migrating?
