Our customer have critical server running. its not database server. They are doing backup but back and recovery is very long cycle. and unfortunately there is no load balancing technique we can use across to say replicate date or use NLB to provide high availability.
Is there anything like full instance replication to different AZ or region so that incase our primary instance goes down, we can bring up our instance in other zone quickly. 10-15 mins data loss is agreeable.
They had this feature in Hyper-V DR VM replication.
Also they are having stretch VLAN (VLAN extended to DR Site) so same VM is up from DR site with same site. however will 10-15 mins of data loss.
Is stretch VLAN or bringing VM up from same (PRIVATE) ip a concept in azure even?
