VM Instability

Hello, we have been dealing with some really strange issues over the half a year with our VMs.  Don't know if this is where this post should go, the sub-categories are not well labeled.

Anyway, every day we have one or two VMs that stop functioning and have to be restarted.  Sometimes it is because the VM starts running at 80%+ CPU and no longer accepts connection requests, other times the connection drops repeatedly throughout the day every few minutes, and other times RDP starts throwing out application or internal error messages.

We have even had a few of our VMs that stopped working properly entirely.  We had to move the employee onto a different remote as nothing we tried fixed the connection issues.

Most of the time, restarting will fix these problems but this is not a real solution as the problem occurs again within 48 hours.  None of the VM event logs show anything out of the ordinary aside from the usual Windows clutter.  For the connection issues, specifically the connection drops, it is not related to our network or internet connectivity.  When it happens, it is isolated to one VM and the employees can successfully connect to other VMs from the same system.

We have tried resetting the configuration when this happens in addition to the restart but again, the issue comes back within 48 to 72 hours.

Is there anyway I can figure out why our VMs keep borking themselves for no reason?  It has started to effect the performance of our business as employees cannot complete their work.
