Security Bug (?): Able to add IP address to SQL Server firewall without permissions

Hi,

I'm experiencing an odd one here.

I tried adding my (or any) IP to one of our SQL Server resources through the Azure Portal. I was greeted with the message indicating that I do not have the right permissions to execute this action. This seems fair, since my colleague only just started to dip his toes into Azure Access management roles etc, and he gave me access to this SQL Server resource, but maybe forgot to give me management rights, I'm not sure.

Then...

However, upon F5, I see that my IP Address was succesfully added to the firewall. I could confirm connectivity from that IP address, so the IP was properly configured despite the warning.

I have *not* confirmed if the same behavior occurs through the CLI, but I thought I'd drop it here.

Regards,

Jarrich
