Setting Azure Portal favorites programatically

I found that I can use https://portal.azure.com/api/Settings/Update to programatically set the Azure portal favorites, but I am unable to find any documenation on this API, and also not able to figure out how to get the favorites programatically.

Any clues on how to do this?
