Can site recovery be done with IPs of the VM staying the same after azure region to azure region failover?
The reason for wanting the IPs to stay the same after failover is completed is so that the certificates do not need to be changed. If I changes the IP for the VM to static would this enable keeping the same IP for failover?

Does the same hold true for on premise to azure failover using site recovery?,... keeping IPs the same? If the IP are kept the same how about the IP for the LB which cannot change?,... do we need to recreate the internal LB for a SQL AG after the failover?
Can we uses a basic load balancer for Azure site recovery failover from azure region to azure region? Or do we need to use a standard load balancer?
