Here's the scenario I am trying to understand. I am logged in through my work account(work@microsoft.com) and am the owner of an azure subscription. Through azure portal(IAM) I gave contributor access to the subscription to my personal account(personal@hotmail.com).
Now if I login to azure portal through my personal account (personal@hotmail.com) I see two directories.
- personal.onmicrosoft.com (this is the default directory)
- microsoft.onmicrosoft.com
I am trying to understand what that implies for me. The personal account is part of which azure active directory ? Also can now ADAL libraries be used with the personal account as it is still a live id. Let me know if the above doesn't make sense.
P.s: This is a combination of multiple azure products and I couldn't choose the best forum to post the question. Mods please feel necessary to move the question to its right place.
