AI already installed; however, portal says Enable Application Insights to start collecting telemetry

I installed and configured application insights for my app on Friday. It was working well.
From Visual Studio it says everything is configured correctly.

However, when I go to the portal, it says I need to enable application insights.

When I click on the orange bar, it opens up a new pane that shows me that I already installed Application Insights and I should start seeing data. It never shows me any data.
