Azure Load Balancer Functionality...

Can I recycle my Azure Load Balancer? Can I flush the IP affinity from the Load Balancer?

My Azure Set Up is:

A resource Group with a Virtual Network, 5 Server 2012 R2 VMs in an accessibility Group, behind a Load balancer.

The Load Balancer has 3 rules: Port 80, Port 443, Port 1433. All of these rules have session persistance set to Client IP

This is set up as an IIS8 web farm, connected to an Azure MSSQL DB service. We have centralised Azure storage and shared remote configuration for IIS8.

The system works correctly. It distributes traffic to my 5 VMs. All is well with the world.

From time to time we would like to be able to clear the Load Balancer Affinity so that we can force a user on to a different VM. Is that possible? Is there a way to recycle (or reboot the load balancer) so that it flushes the Client IP affinity?

Thanks in advance

Colin
