Hi Folks
Here is the situation, we have a web application deployed on Azure, for continuous integration and testing we have created two PaaS versions. Test version and Prod Version and we adopted the swap IP technique once tests are validated for the test version we swaped it with the current prod version and so on. The issue is that this costed for us more than we expected .
Now, the question is what is the best way the optimize our deployment fees. Would be better to test on permisses and then upload to azure or use other deployment techniques like nano server, container docker.
Also our application is using full dotnet framework asp.net mvc version and entity framework . Is it the appropriate way to use .net core and entity framework core instead to also optimize costs.
Also any other advises to optimise costs for this particular situation are welcomed
Thank you
