Hello

We received this email from an alert:

Dear Customer,
'CPU Percentage GreaterThan 95 (Percent) in the last 5 minutes' was activated for d1aas-iaiui-prod-serviceplan
You can view more details for this alert in the Microsoft Azure Management Portal.

RULE NAME: d1aas-iaiui-prod-serviceplan-HighCPU
RULE DESCRIPTION: Alert on high CPU utilization
SERVICE: serverfarms: d1aas-iaiui-prod-serviceplan (IAIUI-Prod)
METRIC: Average CPU Percentage
ALERT ACTIVATED TIME (UTC): 9/20/2016 6:45:13 AM
SUBSCRIPTION NAME: Dell One Service (32)

Thank you,
Microsoft Azure Team

On checking the portal, the alert shows as having been triggered but no spike is visible on the chart:

How can this be explained, is this expected behavior? What level of granularity should be displayed on the chart? The email states that it's an average, calculated over a 5 minute period, I would have thought this should be visible on the chart.

Thanks

Phil.
