Hello,
My predecessor made a major mistake and did a DirSync from the root of our domain which picked up th echild domains of customers and their users. Now there's some 500 users appearing in the 365
and azure portal when in fact there's really only 52 employees in our organization.
I've upgraded our dirsycbn to Azure AD connect and leveraged the OU filtering to target the exact OU and it's users I want sycn'd'. Now I need to remove the other 400 plus users that don't belong
I found a Thread where this was recommended and worked for someone with a similar issue and they reported in worked. I'm just concerned that it will delete all 500 users. Can you take a look at their recommendation and advice me accordingly.
Go to the the Synchronization Service Manager
•Run a Full Import Full Sync from your AD connector
•Run a Full Import Full Sync from your Windows Azure Connector THEN
•Run an EXPORT on the Windows Azure Connector, this will process the changes as delete requests to Office 365
Thanks in advance,
Robert
