Can I script Azure restore of backup data (NOT SQL databases, or cloud servers/VMs)

Every night we're backing up three files to Azure. We need to restore these files onto an alternate machine in a different physical location the next morning, right now, it's a manual process which involves logging onto Azure and downloading vault credentials then going through the steps in the "Microsoft Azure Backup" application to recover these three files.

Can these steps be scripted through Powershell or some other method? I've seen lots of articles on how to restore VMs (cloud servers) or  SQL databases but none on how to restore simple files that have been backed up.

Assuming I can do this through Powershell, the vault credential only lasts a couple days. Can that be extended or the need to download the credential be eliminated in favor of "certifying" the machine on which the script runs?

Thanks,

Scott
