deleted an azure AD app proxy connected application from Azure AD and I now cannot use my custom Sub-domain name used for that application

I have been developing a solution to host one of our on prem application through microsoft Azure AD and app proxy. All went well and I successfully setup SSO with kerberos delegation. But the problem is I am now ready to create a production Azure AD and I cannot use any of the custom sub-domains used with the previous application and my custom upload domain name. I have Delete the app and removed the custom domain name but it still is holding on to the sub-domain. So when I try to apply www.xxxx.com it will not let me use the www because I used it on my previous application. I have went round and round with support, I have serious talked to 12 different people and had a phone to my ear for 10 hours with no answers. I think I have found a bug in the Azure system that if you create an Azure account with an email that is not a active office 365 account you are not able to remove the azure AD premium license and therefore not be able to delete the directory because you cannot log into the office 365 portal to delete the azure AD premium license. Microsoft basically has given up so I come to you guys in hopes someone can help me with this issue.
