Changing Virtual Network Subnets

Hi All,

I have just inherited a whole Azure mess of VMs and networking.

Basically someone had set up a Virtual Network with 10.0.0.0/8 as the address space!

And a subnet of 10.0.0.0/11

So now I am trying to go through and clean this up so I can create another Virtual Network with a 10.x.x.x address range, just a little smaller, since Azure doesn't allow for any overlaps.

Unfortunately, when I click through to the Subnets options and change the CIDR Block numbering from 10.0.0.0/11 to 10.0.0.0/23 the little square box to right just sits there forever calculating, even pressing OK yields nothing, going away and back in again shows no changes.

The Subnet is currently in use with only 6 VMs in it, but the highest used IP is only 10.0.0.8..

Does anyone know what I can do to get this subnet, and then the subsequent address space, changed?

Thanks,

-Tim
