Why moving to Microsoft Azure at this time is a huge mistake...

Hi all,

I write this to help my fellow IT "people".

Microsoft azure as it stands is about to undergo major underlying migration. that is from classic to resource manager. I administer an Azure environment governed through an EA commit. There are huge issues with this:

  1. Microsoft has not published any documentation about the new architecture. Do you understand what no documentation means?????????? it means if you need something you are better off quitting your job since you can not find any info.
  2. Microsoft has not communicated this change to any of its customers (How stupid!!!!). Such a change requires an email sent out to existing customers informing them of such a huge change. (that is to say the least)
  3. Old version is not compatible with new version in any way,,, you heard that correctly,,, NOT IN ANY WAY!!!!
  4. Microsoft does not give a shit if your environment shuts down ... who are you ????

I have had a Microsoft gold partner (Softchoice) engaged to help us with the very basics,, you know, things like setting up a VPN connection with forced tunneling and stuff .... lol

after days of banging our head around, this gold partner of Microsoft could not set up forced tunneling ... something that I set up in Amazon AWS without any knowledge in less than an hour.

So the gold partner goes back and promises to catch Microsoft in Redmond and find out about the location of this holy grail (lmfao,,, documentation of setting up VPN, see the funny side). After many days, I got an email back saying that the discussion with Microsoft is very "intense" to get this "information" (at this point one would shit his pants hearing this). I have been required to provide what would I potentially put on Azure,,, a many tens of thousand dollars of annual commitment is not enough to get VPN set up to Azure... uffffffffffffffffffffff

anyways,,,, I am sure you get the point.. i know there will be some sorry "backsides" here who will come to negate this post.. for all of those trolls paid or supported by Microsoft,, post the documentation for forced tunneling in resource manager before you attempt to negate this post.

Azure is in pre-infancy stage... hopping on it now will be nothing but pain... just my two hundred million cents ....
