Azure Active Directory- The portal cannot load the management data for this resource type

Hello,

I have just created my azure account and accessed the management portal.

I am trying to create a Azure Active Directory however with no success (clicking on the AD icon yields no change in the portal)

the icon of the Active Directory feature has a warning sign on it with a tooltip that reads

"The portal cannot load the management data for this resource type"

Any help would be appreciated.
